Pak-UAE Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 Series Will Be Hosted by SBP

Under the sponsorship of the Pakistan Rugby Union, the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) will host a two-match Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 series between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Tuesday, July 4, to Saturday, July 8.

LAHORE, Pakistan 3rd Jul, 2023):Under the direction of the Pakistan Rugby Union, the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) will host a two-game Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 series between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Tuesday, July 4, to Saturday, July 8.

Nabeela paid a visit to the Punjab Stadium on Monday. The director general of SBP gave the ground personnel instructions to prepare for the mega series at the highest level.

According to Dr. Asif Tufail, hosting Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 at Punjab Stadium was fortunate for the future of the sport in our nation. “The Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 two-match series will be crucial in promoting rugby among the younger generation.”

In Lahore, he greeted the visiting UAE rugby squad.

During the Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 series, “we are quite optimistic that the rugby fans will enjoy the thrilling game of rugby,” he continued.

On Tuesday, July 4, at Punjab Stadium, Pakistan will play host to United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the opening game of a two-game Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 series. On July 8, the second game will also take place at the same location.

25 players and 4 officials from the UAE make up the 29-member rugby team that has arrived in Lahore to compete in the two-match Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 series. Asia Rugby Men’s Division 1 will be supervised by international match officials from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Qatar, and Japan during its two-match season. Rizwan Malik has also been named by Asia Rugby as the competition’s Citing Commissioner.
