His hitting is sometimes likened to that of Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam, who is quickly becoming one of the world’s most destructive hitters.
The fans are eager to witness the match between Virat and Babar as all of the countries prepare for the ODI World Cup, which will be hosted in India in October. The 34-year-old batsman, in addition to his exploits in international cricket, also had a strong showing in the IPL 2023. In 14 games, he scored 639 runs, including two century and six half-centuries.
Babar, on the other hand, has amassed 5089 runs in 100 ODIs and 3696 runs in 47 Test matches. In the longest format, he has nine tonnes, while in the ODI and T20I formats, he has 18 and three centuries.
Babar recently topped the chart with the greatest batting average in the number four batting position in the Test format after playing a minimum of 15 innings, ahead of Virat Kohli and Steve Smith. After 20 innings, his astounding average of 69.10 is impressive. He has struck eight half-centuries and four tonnes throughout this time.
