According to Pakistani kabaddi coach Badshah Gul on Thursday, his athletes are receiving excellent preparation in Iran.

In an exclusive interview with “The News,” Badshah Gul said, “We arrived in Gorgan, the capital city of Golestan province, on July 9 and have been engaged in a joint training with Iran’s national team, which won gold in the most recent Asian Games in Indonesia.”

Before the Asian Games, the Pakistani kabaddi team trained in Iran.

We’ll keep practising through July 22. The collaborative practise in advance of a significant event is advantageous to both sides. Both of us learn from the other, and I believe that will produce good outcomes.

The morning training lasts three hours, and the evening workout lasts three hours. Iran also has a fresh squad because it only has five of the lads that competed in the previous Asian Games and won gold. A new squad is also in Pakistan. I have a lot of faith that we can put together a formidable team in time for the quadrennial competition.

The Pakistani squad is staying in a hotel in the picturesque town of Ziarat, where the climate is perfect for practising. The Azadi Sports Complex, where Iran’s national camp is located, is reached by the Green Shirts from the hotel in forty minutes.

The Pakistani squad also makes use of first-rate facilities, including as a gym and a swimming pool, and Gul is certain that his players will be in great condition.

Yes, I have faith that the sessions held here will help our athletes reach peak performance. Our association with Iran’s trainer and physiotherapist benefits the lads, too,” Gul remarked.

We have never left the Asian Games empty-handed, and this time, we’ll do all in our power to succeed on the main stage,” he added.

According to Mohammad Sarwar, secretary of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF), they would attempt to deploy the squad to China one week prior to the Asian Games’ kabaddi competition.

Every attempt will be made to send the team at least a week before the event, which will begin on October 2. Our approach would be supported by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA),” stated Sarwar.

He said that the Iranian camp would have an impact.

The team would be positively impacted, according to Sarwar, a former captain of Pakistan. Iran’s trip may include up to 22 players, and the 12-person final team for the continental competition will be revealed later.
